I grew up in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 2013 with a deep passion for helping others. That passion led me into healthcare — and more than a decade later, it has taken me on an incredible journey across hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities both stateside and internationally.

Throughout my career, I have served as a healthcare provider and medical specialist in a variety of clinical and administrative settings. From working in pediatric wards and branch medical clinics to supporting joint-service medical processing commands, I have witnessed firsthand how access to the right health information at the right time can change outcomes for patients and families.

"Technology should feel like a helping hand — not a hurdle. My goal is to be the bridge between complex health tools and the people who need them most."

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus in May 2024. Studying human behavior and communication deepened my understanding of why people make health decisions the way they do — and why so many people feel intimidated or left behind when healthcare goes digital.

That insight is what drives me forward today. I am currently pursuing my Master of Public Health (MPH) degree because I want to combine the science of population health with the power of technology to become a stronger healthcare administrator and a more effective advocate for patients — especially those who feel overwhelmed by the rapidly changing world of digital health.

I am not a tech guru. I am someone who has sat across from patients and families who did not know how to use a patient portal, who felt anxious about telehealth appointments, or who were confused by health apps. I am also someone who has felt that same uncertainty. And that is precisely what makes this work personal to me.
